1)Review of Customer’s RFQ/ Enquiry & evaluating whether the same can be quoted or not.
2)Perform selection of pumps inline with the customer’s specifications & requirements.
3)Review of scope of supply & release of RFQs for buy-outs (i.e. drivers, mechanical seal, seal flushing system, coupling & instrumentation etc).
4)Technical evaluation of sub-vendor quotations.
5)Price negotiation with the sub-vendors during bidding stage in order to get the best prices.
6)Preparation of technical offers (including clarification & deviation list) based on customer’s requirement during bidding stage.
7)Resolution of technical queries & attending technical meetings held during bidding stage.
8)After receipt of order, ensuring timely order transfer through internal system, so that the orders can be booked & can come into manufacturing schedule.
9)Participating in internal order handover meeting for clarifications & handover to operations.
10)Extending support to the purchase team in resolving technical queries (if required) before placement of orders for the buy-out items.
11)Helping the project management team to resolve any technical disputes during execution stage with customers.
