Job Summary/Overview:
The Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) organization reviews and proactively manages the life cycle of investments in information technology to optimize assets, control and reduce costs, mitigate risk and drive compliance. The ITAM organization performs three primary functions: IT Asset Management (ITAM), Contract Management (including sourcing and negotiation) and Telecom Expense Management (TEM).
As a Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst you will be responsible for the lifecycle management and governance of the company’s technology-related assets and contracts. The Senior ITAM Analyst makes sure that both daily and long-term strategic management of software and hardware are handled properly according to established policies and procedures. You will work in close coordination with IT Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Legal, Information Security) to establish, enforce, monitor, and continuously improve asset management processes, standards, tools, and controls.
The Senior ITAM Analyst will lead and participate in projects/initiatives that drive the organization’s goals and align with ITT’s overall objectives. You will serve as a subject matter expert on software license compliance and IT contract terms. You will also oversee complex contract negotiations, prepare procurement solicitations (RFP’s) and contracts, and develop and deliver training and presentations regarding asset management and contracting topics.
