This position is responsible for reviewing and managing pump sales orders under $250K and of low to medium complexity. Responsible for planning, executing, and completing customer orders within established timeframes and budgets. Includes coordination with team members and vendors to deliver in accordance with customer requirements. Must demonstrate ability to analyze and understand commercial terms in all contracts, along with the ability to understand and interpret key elements in accordance with the ITT standard.
• Point of contact with the client for all matters related to the contract, price or any changes to the purchase order.
• Maintain a regular routine of communication and meetings with the client providing monthly/weekly project status, schedules and main project activities.
• Responsible for managing the contract, including communication with factory and sales, benefits, receipts, payments to suppliers, delivery schedules, etc.
• Ensure that suppliers and factories understand and comply with all contractual responsibilities, take actions to mitigate potential risks and coordinate all interfaces to ensure the company's image with the client.
• Ensure proper coordination for the submission of drawings and approvals, as well as keeping documentary control of the order.
• Responsible for keeping order control up to date, status of advance payments, margin, risks, etc.
• Review the terms and conditions and ensure compliance.
• If necessary, prepare, notify and negotiate with customers/sales department changes to the original contract.
• Formally notify customers when special problems/circumstances or agreement violations occur.
• Inspect orders on behalf of operations/customers and ensure at least 90% OTP (On-Time Delivery) is met.
• Work with suppliers (internal and external) negotiating pricing and delivery, including direct and indirect delivery requirements.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in management contracts in industrial pumps or components of the capital goods industry.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
