Industrial Process
designs and manufactures pumps, valves, monitoring and control systems, water treatment and aftermarket services for the chemical, oil and gas, mining and other industrial process markets, as well as global service capabilities;

Motion Technologies designs and manufactures brake pads, shock absorbers and sealing solutions for the automotive and rail markets;

Connect and Control Technologies designs and manufactures harsh-environment connectors and critical energy absorption and flow control components primarily for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets.

 

About The Role:

 

The purpose of this position is to provide Human Resources support to the ITT’S offices in Athens/Greece- UK- France- Spain & Kazakhstan. This role requires close working relationship with the local Management teams of the respective countries Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to align with each country's regulations. You'll manage recruitment efforts, employee relations, and ensure compliance with local labor laws. Additionally, you'll collaborate with local teams, provide leadership training, and contribute to the overall global HR strategy of the organization. Effective communication and cultural sensitivity are crucial for success in this role.

Essential Responsibilities

Scope and Magnatude:

  • Work closely with local stakeholders to deliver best practice HR advice and support across a range of people issues including workforce planning, organizational design, performance management and employee development.
  • Provide leadership and direction to management and employees
  • Responsible for transaction HR processes such as payroll, recruitment and selection, compensation planning
  • Ensure all local policies and procedures are up to date, legally compliant and applied appropriately and consistently.
  • Coordinating benefit administration with Finance, Brokers and payroll provider.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Operates as a senior HRBP to employees and managers on employee relations issues to facilitate the resolution of work-related conflicts and promote increased communication.
  • Advises managers on complex relations issues (discipline, coaching associates, performance Management)
  • Leads activities related to driving employee engagement and sustaining a positive work environment
  • Assists employees with the preparation and interpretation of Company policies and responds to day to day enquires, concerns and grievances to ensure compliancy with local legislation.
  • Lead the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection
  • Partners on complex, highly sensitive or business-critical cases to the HR Value Centre partner with an ability to use sound judgement as it relates to achieving solutions.
  • Leads the investigation of associate complaints and disputes and maintains related records and files.
  • Oversee performance management cycle and provide guidance to managers. 
  • Coordinates and participates in the exit process, identifies opportunities and areas of concern requiring follow up.
  • Prepares and executes monthly payroll with support of Finance team
  • Collaborate on all Benefits and employees’ issues relating to benefits.
  • Prepare and present at Regional HR Meetings
  • Manages onboarding process and ensures support to both managers and employees as part of the new hire process.
  • Collaborates with other HR Business Partners in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs related to employee relations.
  • Contribute to the development of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaborates with the Learning and Development Team to lead on local delivery and development solutions.

Position Requirements

  • BS BA or graduate degree preferred
  • Min of 6 years in applicable human resources experience in a similar field or in a similar cross matrix organization in and multinational corporation
  • Able to assess and solve problems that are complex and require consideration of impact on multiple areas
  • Able to drive improvements to current methods and processes significantly and contribute to the creation of new and innovative solutions
  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist in an international and IT/Engineering environment will be highly considered
