Position Summary

The HR Admin Officer provides comprehensive administrative support to the HR Site Manager and assists with the execution of HR policies, programs, and processes. This role is critical to maintaining smooth HR operations at the manufacturing site and ensuring compliance with local labor laws, employee engagement, and HR service excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

HR Administrative Support:

  • Assist the HR Site Manager in day-to-day HR operations and provide general administrative support for all HR activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and physical, in compliance with Korean labor regulations and Company guidelines.
  • Prepare and process HR-related documents.

 

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support new employee onboarding processes, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for new hires.
  • Prepare and deliver onboarding materials, set up necessary documentation, and assist new employees with questions about company policies.

 

Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between employees and the HR department by preparing regular updates, newsletters, and announcements.

 

HR Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain HR databases and records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics as requested by the HR Site Manager, providing insights into workforce trends, turnover rates, and other key metrics.
  • Assist in internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and Korean labor regulations.
  • Support the HR Site Manager in compiling data for the use of payroll (e.g. overtime, leave days, etc.).

Training and Development Support:

  • Assist in organizing employee training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, coordination, and material preparation.
  • Track and document employee training completion and participation records.

 

Other duties:

  • Support on General procurement related tasks for the HR department.
  • Support on ad hoc projects to be assigned in the HR department.
  • Support on the organization of ad hoc company events (trainings, team building, etc.).

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Korean labor laws and HR practices.
  • Experience in HR support within a multinational company or cross-cultural environment.
