We are looking for a Shop Foreman to help run our Houston Pro Services facility located in Stafford, TX on the southwest side of town. The Foreman will oversee all the activities within the shop and support the General Manager in meeting facility safety, quality, and delivery goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Assign daily tasks for the shop Mechanics and Machinists and allocate work to ensure effective use of time and resources.
- Help organize and arrange all tools, materials, drawings, inspection and assembly paperwork, specifications and details, etc. for shop employees in conjunction with assigning work.
- Report any defects in materials, rework, missed inspections, job delays, or problem areas to the General Manager and recommend solutions.
- Reviewing all inspection documentation to ensure complete and accurate. Similarly, responsible for the final inspection of all machined parts to ensure they meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for the final inspection of assembled equipment prior to shipment.
- Communicate with other departments such as Engineering, Sales, Procurement, and ESH&S on deliverables and status of joint work.
- Responsible for the implementation and practice of all Pro Services assembly, disassembly, and machine shop procedures across the shop.
- Responsible for safe work practices for both self and shop employees. This requires knowledge and adherence to Pro Services policies and procedures.
- Adhere to ITT Corporate Code of Conduct at all times and escalate any potential violations or concerns.
- Maintain professional work ethic and behavior in all aspects of work day and routine.
