Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead China sales team drive growth in our niche industries and market, by leading direct sales and distribution channels, and taking them to the next level of performance. This role works closely with the stakeholders and cross-regional teams to develop and execute the business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring professionalism and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objective.
  • Review and improve 3rd party channel coverage to make it effective and driven to deliver incremental business in aftermarket and projects.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business and market opportunities and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction (operations, customer service, locally and overseas).
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior management, offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Position Requirements

  • Seeking 10 years or more experience in industrial pump selling environment (preferred) – or related industry, with proven ability to lead a team to deliver high performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably process equipment, mechanical, chemical, or related field, or proven strong industry experience.
  • Rich knowledge in pump application is preferred.
  • Expert in project sales cycle and end user buying models, paired with strong interfacing ability with customers and 3rd party channels.
  • Preferred strong knowledge of pump industrial standard, (API, ANSI, ISO).
  • Successful proven sales team leadership experience.The ideal candidate has proven record to embrace and align with ITT Culture, Values and DNA (see above 10 pillars of ITT High Performance Culture)
  • S/he will be a dynamic and successful leader who has demonstrated the ability to transform businesses, “live and own” the business in all its aspects and is passionate and engaged in constantly “raising the bar” for self and team to deliver a continuous growth with high commitment and dedication.
  • Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
