Industrial Engineering Manager

• Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~ 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets. 
• Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts. 
• Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to support the manufacturing on new equipment (manual benches with high technology, automatic production line), continuous improvement and special projects.

1. Production Engineering Management:

• Optimize masterplan of plant, Optimize layout of production lines.
• Lead the digital workshop projects (full connected system with Industrial department and quality).
• Lead the design, installation, homologation, commissioning for the new production lines of the new products.
• Lead the relocation of production lines equipment.
• Lead the technical specs for new line, equipment or maintenance work 5 领导新线路、设备或维护工作的技术规格
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, improve process, optimize the production flow, reduce process cycle time, lower production cost, improve production efficiency, improve the quality of products, reduce defect PPM. Oversee manufacturing cost budgets and reduce waste through process improvements and standardization.
• Lead solving the bottleneck process of the production lines, lead upgrading of the production equipment, improve equipment utilization.
• Lead upgrading level of fixtures & tooling.

2. Utility Engineering Management

Lead upgrading of new & old equipment and facilities of utility engineering system (including water supply & drainage system, electricity power supply & distribution system, HVAC system, wastewater treatment system, compressed air system, civil engineering, etc.)

3. EHS Engineering Management:

Lead upgrading of new & old equipment and facilities of firefighting system (including indoor & outdoor fire hydrant system, firefighting sprinkler system, firefighting alarm system, firefighting escaping system, etc.)

4. IT Engineering Management:

• Lead upgrading of new & old equipment and facilities of access control system
• Lead upgrading of new & old equipment and facilities of monitoring control system
  
  

5. Ensure production processes compliance with quality standards (ISO, IATF 16949) and lead RCA (root cause analysis) and quality improvement projects.
   
6. Manage a team of industrial engineers and process engineers, assign tasks, organize internal training and enhance professional capabilities.
   
7. Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and supply chain departments to drive/help NPI and process feasibility validation. This role can be involved also in the selection of suppliers.
   
8. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH) , and promote green manufacturing practices.
   
   

• Seeking 10 years or more experience in a manufacturing environment
• Technical Capabilities: Proficient in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Automation Design and Industrial Software (e.g. AutoCAD, Siemens Teamcenter).
• Management skills: Experience in cross-departmental team management and complex project management.
  
• Industry experience: More than 10 years of industrial engineering management background in manufacturing industry (automotive/machinery preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or above, Mechanical Engineering or Automation education background is preferred.
• Production process design, automation and fixture/jigs design capability is a must
• S/he will be a dynamic and successful leader who has demonstrated the ability to transform businesses, “live and own” the business in all its aspects and is passionate and engaged in constantly “raising the bar” for self and team to deliver a better growth with high commitment and dedication
• Can work under pressure and have strong sense of accountability.

• Be competent in the use of drawing software and design layout and 2D drawings for machines modification, good at preparing time planning, analysis and produce the technical specification.

• Workable English in listening, speaking, reading and writing
