Position Summary

What’s the role?

 

As FP&A Analyst will assist in providing financial, strategic and analytical support to FP&A Manager and Business unit CFO

This position plays a significant role in the preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly closing, consolidated financial Forecasts, Budgets and Strategic/Operating plans; will contribute to the overall assessment of ITT performance to be presented through regular financial status communications to the CFO

Essential Responsibilities

Your day in the life in ITT as FP&A Analyst

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reporting package (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and any ad hoc financial analysis requested by CFO and management
  • Handle the data transmission to the group using the consolidation software (Onestream)
  • Analyze financial performance
  • Perform budget and cost analysis, reviewing and advisory of financial status
  • Assist with the establishment, development and consolidation of the financial targets and data requirements for the quarterly Forecast, Yearly Strategic, Operating and Budget Plans
  • Perform SG&A Italy cost controlling activity, support monthly closing and perform financial planning and analysis by cost center, coordinating the preparation of SG&A forecasts and budget
  • Maintaining an on-going relationship with departments to assist them in controlling their costs and with HR to ensure alignment with headcount reporting
  • Approval and accounting control of purchase requests of SG&A costs for HQ Italy
  • Follow the ITT Way and ensure compliance with schedules and requirements
  • Assist with the financial data requirements and analysis for internal reporting to the CFO and GM
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the organization
  • Evaluate financial inputs to ensure accuracy and achievability
  • Help develop monthly and quarterly business review requirements, weekly outlooks and preparing financial analysis
  • Communicate or liaise with direct management, finance personnel and other analysts in meeting task assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information, investment decisions, or any other tasks assigned by the organization

Position Requirements

What will make you our perfect match? 

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a financial analyst, or in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or any finance related degree
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Data analytics and good IT skills – Proficiency in big data analysis, MS Excel, Power-Point, accounting software, One Stream, HFM, and analysis applications
  • Good interpersonal skills, detail oriented, self-motivated and organized
  • Good communication and presentation skills – verbal and oral
  • Ability to prioritize task, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good English knowledge
