Responsible for ensuring product and process quality at the plant, managing non-conformities, audits, and quality plans. Supervises from receipt to shipment, leading improvements, training, and monitoring management indicators.
• Ensure compliance with the Procedures/Work Instructions and Forms included in the Integrated Quality Management System (IQMS).
• Implement and promote the development of actions to improve management efficiency and effectiveness.
• Complete all required safety training and participate in weekly 5-minute safety meetings.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses, and suggest ways to improve safety.
• Comply with ESH&S safety standards and procedures at ITT, customer, and supplier facilities.
• Manage the Measurement and Testing/Monitoring calibration documentation and annual schedule.
• Perform checks (receiving and final production), approve them internally, and keep them updated. Validate internal Test Bench reports.
• Manage internal/supplier/warranty complaints. Assist with corrective, preventive, and improvement actions associated with the process/components.
• Analyze the problem-solving methodology for non-conforming process/product applications (8D or 5-step). Plant Management rejects.
• Has delegated the authority to request a halt in production and/or release the finished product in the event of a detected product or process non-conformity.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Machining and Quality area.
• Preferably a degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Preferably a student or graduate with a technically oriented tertiary degree.
• Advanced knowledge of metrology and measuring instruments.
• Preferably experience in companies certified under Integrated Quality Management Systems (Quality, Environment, and Safety) and international standards.
• English: Preferably an intermediate level.
• Driver's license (minimum B1)
