Essential Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales turnover and profitability in line with Company objectives.
  • Expand Customer Base, Identify Key Projects, Establish and maintain a customer base within a specific territory. Develop new customers in their pump repair needs. Also, expand business to involve other mechanical equipment. Build Relationships with Key (decision makers) within customer’s organization.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve products/systems problems at customer installation. Perform pump and system diagnostic and analysis including review of pumps application and operation, pump design and materials, pump vibration. Identify and resolve any defect(s).
  • Staying up to date on service-on-service capabilities.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and providing solutions accordingly.
  • Preparation of presentations and proposals to obtain new orders, including review of clients’ specs and commercial requirements.
  • Coordinating and resolving customer service issues in a manner that retains the customer and provides opportunities for additional revenue in the future.
  • Conduct customers plant surveys to verify current installed population. Utilize these surveys for project sales opportunities to replace outdated pumps (efficiency upgrades) or secure parts orders (maintenance upgrades).
  • Ensure completion of Customer Satisfaction feedback reports.
  • Interact with Operations staff to ensure that the customer’s needs are met.
  • Review and manage parts agreement and price increases
  • Review and keep track of parts activity to help close the orders
  • Analyse parts business, recommend strategies to grow it and implement agreed upon actions
