Position Summary

Operate conventional lathes, milling machines, bench and radial drills, cylindrical grinders, and electrical discharge machining. Move parts manually and with pallet trucks and overhead cranes.

Essential Responsibilities

TMachine metal and plastic parts as specified in the respective drawings and production orders for each type of machining process (e.g., turning, milling, drilling, etc.);
Weld plastic parts using rotation and hot air blasting;
Perform self-inspection on produced parts;
Identify produced parts with an industrial marker, electric pencil, or seal;
Read, interpret, and use drawings, approved procedures, and calibrated instruments in all activities;
Move equipment and parts with an overhead crane, pallet jack, and mechanical arm, according to the competency matrix;
The employee must be able to read, interpret, and perform their activities according to their area's production plan, properly marking the completion of activities, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement, and duly recording them on the Gemba walk monitoring board;
Ensure that their work area is tidy, orderly, standardized, and clean, and that these requirements are sustainable;
This position must perform all activities without supervision;
Ensure proper storage of measuring instruments against damage and deterioration;
Segregate instruments whose calibration has expired for appropriate action;
Maintain a clean and organized environment using ITT's 6S principle;
Participate in and respond to internal and external audits for your area of operation based on the procedures and technical specifications for use established in the management system;

Position Requirements

High school, machining technician or related courses.Operate conventional lathes, milling machines, bench and radial drills, cylindrical grinders, and electrical discharge machining. Move parts manually and with pallet trucks and overhead cranes.
