Position Summary

  1. Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) Based on customer forecasts, sales orders, production capacity, equipment bottlenecks, etc., formulate medium- and short-term plannings. Clearly define production volume and production schedules.
  2. Coordinate supply vs. demand issues: balance production capacity, customer demand fluctuations, order changes, material shortages and inventory status, etc., to coordinate production priorities and resource allocation to ensure the stability of the deliveries.
  3. Formulate 12-month rolling sales and operation plan (S&OP): Regularly organize cross-departmental meetings to plan sales forecasts, production plans and material plans to balance supply and sales.
  4. Responsible for material planning management to production requirements and achieve inventory control target.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Leading the SIOP meeting, collaborate with sales, production, supply chain and other departments to formulate monthly production plan based on customer demands, production capacity, inventory status, etc. At the same time, break down the monthly production plan and further refine it into weekly and daily production plans.
  2. Review customer orders or forecast demand vs. balance actual situation to confirm customer delivery schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
  3. Supervise production process to find if any abnormal issues during production process, such as material shortages or equipment malfunctions. Then, coordinate with relevant teams to solve issues and follow up daily production output.
  4. Manage material planning orders, balance material planning and tracking material arrival schedules and handling critical material shortage issues with Purchasing team.
  5. Controlling the raw materials inventory level and timely to clear out obsolete materials and optimize the inventory.
  6. The timely performance of tasks under the orders of the superior.
  7. Comply with ESH policy and procedure, implement ESH responsibilitiescarry out ESH activities, keep all operations in line with ESH requirements and deliver ESH performance.
  8. Other tasks assigned.

Position Requirements

  1. More than 8 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
  2. Extensive experience in master production planning and material planning, with excellent capacity planning and balancing capabilities.
  3. Strong logical thinking and good data analysis skill.
  4. Good communication with strong cross-departmental coordination skills.
  5. Capable of enduring hardships and having strong resilience to pressure.
