General services in the areas of: balancing, performance testing, hydrostatic testing, assembly, painting, coupling and machining.
• Perform general services supporting all areas as needed, these areas may include:
Balancing, performing balancing, removing burrs, issuing reports
Performance Testing, performing setup preparation, support during testing, assembling parts for TH
Assembly, cleaning parts, preparing for assembly, pre-assembly of dry assemblies
Painting, performing washing, preparation for painting
Machining, counterboring and deburring rotors
Coupling, preparing pumps for coupling with movement, creating nameplates, pre-assembly
• Reading, interpreting and using bills of materials and/or work orders in all activities;
• Performing self-inspection of the work performed;
• Moving equipment and parts with overhead cranes, pallet jacks and robotic arms;
• The employee must be able to read, interpret and perform their activities according to the production plan of the area they are supporting, performing the proper marking of activity completion, identifying potential risks, opportunities for improvement and the proper recording on the Gemba walk monitoring board.
• Ensure your work area is tidy, organized, standardized, clean, and that these requirements are sustainable.
• Ensure proper storage of instruments and tools to prevent damage and deterioration.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment using ITT's 6S principle.
• Utilize overhead crane, electric hoist, hydraulic trolley.
