Warehouse management is responsible for inventory control. Inventory accuracy enables the company to reduce the amount of stock required on hand and the costs associated with storing excess inventory, while maintaining adequate stock levels to meet demand.
Material and invoice receipt. Ensure timely data entry and integration of warehouse information into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, supporting on-time supplier payments.
System updates of inventory movements. Maintain real-time visibility of sales, work, and purchase orders, ensuring seamless information flow between the warehouse and the ERP system.
Effective use of data. Analyze and identify product trends to anticipate resource needs, detect and address productivity issues, track errors, and implement continuous improvement actions.
ABC classification management. Identify and analyze inventory components based on their value, turnover rates, and space utilization.
Work order monitoring. Oversee work orders to ensure accurate material picking and fulfillment required to complete sales orders.
On-time material delivery. Ensure timely supply of materials to the production line to support assembly operations.
Production status updates. Provide updates on material delivery status during Gemba walks to ensure alignment with production progress.
