Position Summary

What is your role?

As a Commercial Controller, you will establish, structure and develop Sales Back Office and selected Controlling processes across KONI Group. You will act as a key business partner to the CFO by building reliable Order Intake, Sales and Backlog reporting, while developing processes supporting pricing, defense business and financial control capabilities.

In this role, you will play a critical part in improving transparency, enabling data-driven decision-making, and strengthening commercial and financial control across the organization. You will operate at the intersection of Finance and Sales, contributing directly to business performance, pricing strategy, and future controlling capabilities.

 

Essential Responsibilities

Your impact in this role
  • Establish end-to-end processes for Order Intake, Sales and Backlog analysis (definition, ownership, governance)
  • Build and standardize Railway and Defense matrices as core management tools
  • Develop and implement Sales Price Management processes (tracking, governance, reporting)
  • Set up and maintain Inflation Balance tracking across products and customers
  • Build structured Defense market analysis and opportunity tracking processes
  • Contribute to strengthening Plant Controlling and FP&A processes (especially for KOB)
  • Support development of future controlling capabilities and talent pipeline

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, design and document new Sales Back Office processes and ensure implementation across KONI Group
  • Monitor and analyze Order Intake, Sales and Backlog, ensuring data integrity and transparency
  • Own and continuously improve Railway and Defense matrices (coverage, pipeline visibility, data quality)
  • Support Defense business development through market analysis, opportunity tracking and quotation support
  • Develop and maintain Sales Price Management framework (price increases, tracking vs plan, reporting)
  • Track inflation impact versus price realization (Inflation Balance) and provide actionable insights
  • Provide ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis for CFO and management
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to sales, backlog and pricing
  • Reinforce Controlling capabilities, including cooperation with Plant Controllers and FP&A
  • Participate in developing future Controller profile (tools, processes, analytics capabilities)
  • Ensure consistency and quality of data across SAP, CRM and reporting systems
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation and simplification of reporting tools

 

Position Requirements

What will make you successful?
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar
  • 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Sales Analysis or Sales Back Office
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong advantage
  • Experience in building or improving processes is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Skills& Capabilities

  • Advanced Excel Power BI or similar tools strongly preferred
  • Good understanding of financial and commercial KPIs (Order Intake, Sales, Backlog, Margin, Pricing)
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and create processes from scratch
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders (CFO, Sales, Controlling)
  • English (minimum B2), additional languages are a plus
