SAP BI (BW/BOBJ) Analytics Developer

The Analytics SAP BI Developer will be responsible for maintaining and developing BI solutions for multiple projects in SAP BI (BW/BOBJ) technologies.

The Analytics SAP BI Developer will be working in a dynamic environment with Business Intelligence (BI) technologies including SAP BW, SAP Business Objects and BEX along with other BI tools. Detailed knowledge and experience with SAP BW development and Business Objects design and development is required.  Additional knowledge of SAP Data Services (BODS), SQL Server, Data Warehousing concepts, database administration and/or other BI tools (ex. Alteryx, QlikView / Qlik Sense) is a distinct advantage.

• Analyzing, designing, developing and testing BI applications/solutions utilizing SAP BW, BOBJ.
• Developing and writing functional and technical specifications for the design and implementation of reporting solutions.
• Ability to take on multiple projects/tasks and balance priorities to deliver analytics solutions utilizing agile software development concepts
• Troubleshooting and performance tuning BI tools, systems, and software
• Support end users in the creation of reports utilizing the Business Objects BI toolset.
• Interfacing with business users to understand and identify the need for new products and services.
• Work with analytics team, business users, and project managers to effectively deliver analytic solutions on-time and on budget.
• Support the nightly load of data into SAP BW environments.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in an agile team environment

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other technical concentration; or Master’s degree in computer science or bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical concentration

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a BW/BOBJ Developer

Skills/Knowledge:

• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Experience in general system administration activities
• Demonstrated ability to manage time on multiple concurrent projects and/or activities.
• Practical working experience with troubleshooting reporting application issues in a productive enterprise-caliber software solution
• Experience or knowledge with developing in SAP BI (BW, BOBJ and BODS)
• Experience building technical designs of Business Intelligence solutions
• Experience or knowledge with Qlikview, Qlik Sense or similar BI tool
• Experience or knowledge of SQL Server and ETL processes/tools (Alteryx)
